This remake includes two campaigns spanning the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising!

Defend your homeland with the help of Andy, Max, Sami and other commanding officers, each with their own specialties and UC virtues. Andy can repair units, while Sami can enhance the abilities of your troops. But remember that your opponents will also have their own UC virtues! Throughout both campaigns, the commanding officers you meet will play a vital role, on the battlefield and in the story.
Recruit friends and find out who the best strategist is.
When you need a break from the game’s two campaigns, you can test your skills in Challenge Mode, where up to four players can battle it out across dozens of maps. Each player chooses a commanding officer from those who appear in the campaigns, and can use their UC virtues to turn the tide of a battle. You can also customize your combat with options like funding for each friendly base or limited field of view.
