Because it is designed for mobile gaming, the Nintendo Switch Lite console does not output the image to a TV.

Take your favorite games with you wherever you go

If a game supports Joy-Con controller features, such as HD Rumble, IR Motion Camera, and motion controls, some features will not be available when using the Nintendo Switch Lite console alone. To use these features, Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) are required.

To play games that aren't compatible with handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. In these cases, a device that can charge Joy-Con controllers, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip, is required. For information on game compatibility, check the back of the game packaging or visit Nintendo eShop.
