In 2042, extreme weather events and resource conflicts have altered the balance of power on the world. Vast and dynamic environments

Fight in spectacular full-scale warfare across seven massive maps, crafted with a new design philosophy. Each battlefield features multiple distinct combat areas in a single play space. This extra space provides more variety and expands the possibilities offered by vehicles. Tanks have more ground to cover, fighters more airspace to maneuver. Across these maps, you’ll experience ever-changing battle conditions and gameplay challenges. Quickly adapt to dynamic events and disasters, such as sandstorms in the deserts of Qatar, a rocket launching from the French Guiana Space Center, and tornadoes threatening the concrete jungles of South Korea.

State-of-the-art arsenal

Unleash your creativity in combat with a wide array of cutting-edge weapons, vehicles, jets, helicopters, and gear inspired by the near-future of 2042. Call upon the Ranger, a robotic dog built for combat, use the Syrette pistol to revive squad members from afar, deploy a grappling hook to reach new locations, don a wingsuit, fly a recon drone, and more.

Specialists

Choose your role on the battlefield and build your own squads with the new Specialist system. Based on the four Battlefield classes, Specialists have a unique specialty and trait, but the rest of their loadout is customizable. By choosing and equipping your Specialist, you can create synergies within your squad and tackle any situation in battle.

New seasons, new content

You and the community will progress through Battlefield™ 2042 through a Seasonal system that will continuously bring new updates to the game. Each Season, each based on a new narrative theme, will bring new content such as Specialists, locations, weapons, and vehicles.
