New features in EA SPORTS FIFA 19 put you in control of the pitch at any moment, both technically and tactically. The new Active Touch System enables more precise control, Dynamic Tactics allow for deeper yet more accessible team setup changes, 50/50 Battles provide increased physicality and require more player skill in tackling to recover the ball, Timed Finishing increases control over shots, while the evolution of Real Player Motion Technology takes player personality to new levels, with increasingly realistic animations and movements.
Active Touch System: The new Active Touch System fundamentally changes the way you receive and strike the ball, providing closer control, greater fluidity, creativity and increased player personality. Utilize a suite of new first touches, like the disguised touch, flick-up volleys and skill-specific animations, like the Neymar Trap, to beat your opponent and create scoring opportunities.
Dynamic Tactics: A reimagined system allows you to choose from multiple tactical approaches, providing deeper customization pre-match, as well as more options to make in-match adjustments using the D-pad. Each tactical approach combines formations, mentalities, and offensive and defensive playstyles, allowing you to easily customize your setup in any situation.
50/50 Battles: With 50/50 Battles, user reactions and player attributes will determine the outcome of on-pitch battles. Every challenge will be crucial to gaining possession, thanks to increased intelligence and spatial awareness by teammates.
Timed Finishing: Double tapping shoot on any attacking attacking ball activates a timed finish, giving you more control over how you connect with the ball. The timing of your second tap determines the outcome of your contact, with perfectly timed shots increasing in accuracy and power, while poorly timed shots are more likely to miss the mark. Whether it's a strike from outside the box, a precision header, or a deft touch, timed finishing adds a new layer of control to chances in front of goal.
Real Player Motion Technology: The revolutionary animation system that brought player personality and increased fidelity to movement to EA SPORTS FIFA returns with greater depth than ever before. Improved animations for tactical shielding, impact absorption, and physical challenges introduce lifelike player motion, taking player responsiveness and personality to new levels.
