Guitar Hero Live includes Guitar Hero TV, the world’s first playable music video network that lets you perform hundreds of iconic and beloved songs from a variety of musical genres.

Guitar Hero TV is a 24-hour mode that allows fans to enjoy a constantly updated collection of official music videos – from the latest singles to beloved hits – across a wide variety of genres. Fans will be able to choose from multiple channels and themed shows, discovering new songs as they play, and can also select songs to play on demand. In Guitar Hero TV, fans can also play with their friends in the same room and against other players around the world to see who can rack up the highest score on a given song, completing challenges along the way. Guitar Hero TV will be a living, breathing platform that will provide a constantly changing source of music that will help bring the party atmosphere back to the living room.

Turning on Guitar Hero TV is just like turning on your regular TV. Pick a channel and enjoy the show. Don't like what's on? Just change the channel and enjoy a new song.

The guitar controller has been redesigned for the best playability at any skill level. The new 2 x 3 button layout makes it easier to play with just three buttons or, for the veteran, more closely mirrors playing real chords with all six buttons, making the game easier for beginners and more challenging for experts.

Guitar Hero Live enhances the experience by introducing a redesigned, modern guitar controller that features two rows of three frets each that better reflect the way people naturally play. The new format ensures that players of all skill levels will enjoy playing the game. For beginners, players will be able to feel like a rock star by using just the bottom three frets. More advanced players will no longer have to stretch their fingers all the way down the neck of the guitar and can instead master the two-row combinations that mimic real chords. Advanced players will have an added challenge as they create complex finger combinations and chords that will give them a new feeling. This simple innovation will make it easier for beginners to pick up and harder for experts to master.

Musical diversity is at the heart of the game. Guitar Hero Live is akin to a modern music festival with artists from rock, folk, EDM, hip-hop, country, and pop all sharing the same stage. The game will feature hundreds of playable songs from a wide range of artists, including The Black Keys, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Gary Clark, Jr., Green Day, Ed Sheeran, The War on Drugs, The Killers, Skrillex, The Rolling Stones, The Lumineers, Carrie Underwood, Pierce the Veil, and Blitz Kids. Many more bands will be announced in the coming months.
