In the Old World, wars have disappeared since its inhabitants decided to settle their differences by playing the sacred sport of the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. Yet this discipline is no less bloody than the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, witchcraft and even divine interventions follow one another on the field, to the delight of all spectators!

Merciless, but not brainless – Take command of a team of 12 races, each with unique characteristics, and prevent your opponents from advancing by carefully positioning your players. Mercilessly dodge or eliminate anyone who gets in your way and reach the end zone to score the decisive touchdown! Of course, it would be up to the best strategists to win, but who knows? An angry troll could gobble up a teammate and change the course of the match.

You're the Boss – Create your own team, recruit players, customize their appearance, crests and armor, hire cheerleaders and a coach, then take part in the fiercest competitions in the Old World. Be careful though: injuries are common, and it's more than likely that one of your players will be carried off the field in a body bag, putting an end to a once-promising career...
