Death, who has come to our dimensional plane to exonerate his brother Guerra from the accusation of having unleashed the Apocalypse, unjustly brought against him by the Burnt Council in the previous chapter of the saga, will have to reap the souls of fallen angels and cruel demons in order to solve all the puzzles he will encounter along the way and understand who or what wants to destroy humanity and finally redeem the name of Guerra.

The new story takes place between the first and the second: the main objective will be to discover who betrayed Guerra. Morte, the second of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, is informed of his brother's conduct by the Burned Council but cannot believe for a moment that he was capable of breaking the seal thus determining the destruction of the human race.

Death sets out on his mission, intent on crossing the dangerous territories that lie between Hell and Heaven, with the aim of exonerating Guerra and discovering who is truly responsible for an Apocalypse that should not have been.
