The Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition will include all of the standard edition content, the Kombat Pack, early access to the game on September 14, and 1,250 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency). The Kombat Pack includes a Johnny Cage character skin featuring the likeness of famed actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme (available day one), early access to six new playable characters (available post-launch), and five new Kameo fighters (available post-launch).
Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 1 will represent the rebirth of the Mortal Kombat universe, created by Fire God Liu Kang, and will introduce re-imagined, never-before-seen versions of the iconic characters.
By pre-ordering the game before Day One you will be able to obtain the playable character Shang Tsung (code included in the pack).
NetherRealm’s genre-defining Story Mode returns with unexpected twists that reimagine the classic rivalries and personal stories of a diverse roster of characters, including Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, and more.
Mortal Kombat 1 will also introduce Kameo Fighters: a roster of character partners who can assist players during matches, expanding the gameplay possibilities.
