The PES series has always achieved great acclaim for its incredible realism and level of control, but PES 2011 promises to further invigorate the brand with a substantial addition of advanced gameplay elements, control options and animations that faithfully represent real-world football.
As a key feature for total gameplay freedom, PES 2011 introduces a new power bar for each player that allows the user to determine the positioning and force applied to every single pass and shot.
The ball can now be distributed virtually anywhere on the pitch with pinpoint precision, allowing for long passes into space, short passes, and complex one-twos to truly control the pace of the game.
This freedom is further enhanced by the new Artificial Intelligence designed to leave every move and strategic decision in the hands of the user.
No more semi-automatic passes that end up at the feet of the closest teammate.
The movements on the field, the strategies to adopt, everything will be decided and managed personally by the player.
The “heart” of the new approach of PES 2011 is the control system specifically designed to guarantee total management in every element of the game.
Pass triangulations and the creation of spaces, using thoughtful movements, become essential in building the game.
Additionally, dribbling and close ball control are much more realistic and difficult to master!
Gone are the days when you could just run across the pitch with the ball at your feet without being stopped: PES now reproduces real football in every way.
The end result is the most realistic and complete PES ever made.
PES 2011 delivers an evolved experience that still maintains the key to its success in gameplay and realism. PES 2011 will also have a myriad of small additions, all designed to enhance the overall gaming experience.
The difficulty level has been recalibrated thanks to the incredible increase in control while new camera views will further enhance the spectacular new graphics and animations.
Furthermore, following the requests of the PES community, referees and goalkeepers will also be subject to incredible improvements both in terms of aesthetics and artificial intelligence.
A new commentary engine has also been implemented which will ensure a better and less repetitive narration of the game.
