Quarter Century Bonanza is an expansion set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game which celebrates one of the most important anniversaries of this TCG through a special formula that combines novelty and nostalgia in a way never seen before.

This time, in fact, Konami entered a list of 200 cards that can be found in special rarity Luxury Super Rare : These cards will be distributed so that 1 will always be present in every pack instead of a normal Super Rare... and what's even better is that these luxury cards are only present in this version (in one of two variants between Platinum or Quarter Century)!

This set will see the return of cards like Super Polymerization , Diabellstar the Black Witch And Princess Prometheus, Giver of Flames . The set Quarter Century Bonanza is made up of 78 cards, plus the 200 from the Luxury list, and each pack contains:

• 1 Rare Secret Plarinum or 1 Rare Secret Quarter Century
• 1 Super Rare
• 1 Secret Rare (1 in 4 chance of being Platinum or Quarter Century)
• 2 Ultra Rares (1 in 6 chance of being a Collector Rare or Ultimate Rare)

Things Yu-Gi-Oh! ?

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a very well-known name among anyone who has come into contact with recent nerd culture. The franchise made its debut way back in 1996 starting from a manga for kids which tells the story of Yugi Muto, a boy like many others who - by pure chance - one day discovers one of the Millennium Artifacts, awakening an ancient power. The boy will thus enter a vortex of adventures that will lead him to compete in countless trials against increasingly aggressive opponents, while ancient truths resurface between one challenge and another.

The comic book publication of Yu-Gi-Oh !, already very popular in Japan, later got an Anime adaptation which was the spark that made the series an unforgettable member of pop culture . The names of its characters, from Yami Yugi to Joey Wheeler, from Seto Kaiba to Yami Bakura, passing through all those who appeared in the countless spin-offs which the series has been accompanied by over the years, are now a true legend.

Now that it's been 20 years of life, this Trading Card Game has consolidated itself over time to become one of the three big names in its genre, standing alongside giants such as Magic: the Gathering (the father of the entire genre) and Pokémon (with a brand that has no rivals in the world) to the point of narrowly surpassing them in sales.

This successful card game is currently the best-selling TCG in the world . Produced by the gaming giant Konami , distributed in a widespread manner on every continent, and supported by a constant wave of renewal and innovation, it has sold 22 million individual cards in 2009, and since then the number has only increased. The popularity of Yu-Gi-Oh! is well deserved: the game is in excellent health, with an active and vibrant competitive scene, while the television and video game series linked to the brand have not given an inch since their first introduction.
