From PlayStation Studios and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon's Souls. Completely rebuilt from the ground up and expertly refined, this remake introduces the terrifying world of a dark and foggy fantasy land to a new generation of gamers. Those who have faced its trials before can brave the darkness once more with stunning graphics and incredible performance.
To gain power, the 12th King of Boletaria, King Allant, used the ancient Soul Arts, awakening a demon from the dawn of time: the Ancient One.
With the Ancient One's summoning, a colorless mist descended upon the land, unleashing nightmarish creatures that craved human souls. Those whose souls were torn from them went mad, left with only the desire to attack the remaining healthy people.
Today, Boletaria is cut off from the outside world, and the knights who dare to enter the deep fog to free the land from its plague are gone forever. As a lone warrior who has braved the terrible fog, you must undertake daunting challenges to earn the title of "Demon Slayer" and return the Ancient One to its slumber.
