The plot takes place in Paris, where Remy, a little mouse, dreams of one day becoming a famous chef like his idol Gusteau, the chef of a renowned restaurant in the French capital, near which Remy has moved with his family.
Remy's father and brother are content to eat anything, but not the protagonist, who instead tastes only the most refined foods (when he can find them) and teams up with the waiter Linguini to foil the inevitable diabolical plans of a rival chef of Gusteau.
Ratatouille is a classic action-platformer. We can collect objects to use as weapons, use our sense of smell to locate hot-spots (marked in fluorescent blue) and of course jump (there is also a double jump) and climb on boxes, ledges, tables and almost everything we see within the levels.
Ratatouille promises to be a rather nice and fun platformer, with decent graphics and a colorful atmosphere that closely recalls the locations and design of the film.
