ANTI-TERRORISM UNIT

Counterterrorism officers are trained to handle extreme situations, such as rescuing a hostage, with surgical precision. Specialists in “short ranges,” they train mostly indoors. They operate in compact formations, and are experts in close combat, demolitions, and coordinated assaults.

EXPERIENCE THE SIEGE

For the first time in Rainbow Six®, players will experience the reality of sieges, a brand new style of assault. Enemies are able to transform their surroundings into strongholds, using traps, fortifications and defense systems to prevent Rainbow teams from entering.

To face this new challenge, players will enjoy a level of freedom never before seen in a Rainbow Six® title. Combining tactical maps, reconnaissance drones, and a new rappel system, they will have more options to plan, attack, and neutralize.

PROCEDURAL DESTRUCTION

Destruction is at the heart of the siege. Using Ubisoft Montreal’s proprietary Realblast engine, players are now able to destroy the environment like never before. Walls can be smashed to create new lines of fire, while ceilings and floors can be blown up to create new access points. Environments react realistically, dynamically and uniquely based on the size and caliber of bullets used or the amount of explosives planted. In Rainbow Six® Siege, destruction is a weapon, and mastering it is often the key to victory.

TERRORIST HUNT MODE

Terrorist Hunt mode brings a new threat to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, immersing players in the heart of a global crisis triggered by a dangerous terrorist cell known as White Mask. The Terrorhunt mode includes four possible variants that can be played alone or with up to four other teammates. Each mission will feature advanced enemy AI, a series of exciting challenges and a high level of replayability, while different objectives and difficulty levels will make each operation unique.
